Mustangs

“For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. Chief Seattle, 1855″

MUSTANGS is an exhibition of awe-inspiring photographs, shot for the most part in black and white, and tells the story of thesefree-roaming horses.

With this exhibition, star photographer Manfred Baumann, renowned worldwide for his photographs of stars like Angelina Jolie, John Malkovich, Jack Black, Natalie Portman, and international top models, along with his famous artisticnude photography, ventures into uncharted terrain. To capture these beautiful creatures on film, Baumann and his wife Nelly travelled to Nevada. The project was conducted with the support of Madeleine Pickens.

She is the owner of the Mustang Monument and the founder of Saving America`s Mustangs. In his exhibition Wild Horses: Living Symbol of Freedom, Craig C. Downer advises us to live with the diversity of the world of which we are a part, and to become one with it. Then we will become one with life and death and the energy that flows through all eternity.

He asks that we do not forget the mustang who told us this. Protecting the freedom of these horses and the land on which they live will en-sure that we, too, will not lose our freedom for the sake of all life on earth.
